I'm a brand new member to the forum here and I've recently purchased a 2014 Coachmen Clipper Ultra-Lite 17FQ.
I want to possibly add on to the top of the rear bumper and also wall-mount a diamond-plate aluminum storage cabinet. I know that there are stud in the back wall that are 16" apart to connect to (in addition to anchoring the box to the rear bumper from above).
Has anyone ever done this type of a modification and if so, what are the pros and cons?
Thanks to all in advance for any and all information you can provide!
Yeah, Platokidd--that was the same advice received from the Viking RV staff when I posed the question to them. I was hoping that I could store enough light-weight things for the black & gray water tanks (hose connectors, gloves, etc.) plus some electrical-related items such that I would not have to store them in my car each and every trip. But.....it may not be feasible...
