Rbertalotto one more question Santa delivered today. Did you run power from the camera or the wireless transmitter. Not sure which one to connect to running lights or if it matters. Like I stated before I am a newbie any chance of a quick wire diagram? Any help is greatly appreciated. Merry Xmas

I'm not sure I understand the question. I hope this helps.

The transmitter AND the camera both need 12v. I tapped into the running lights for this power. For the camera to work, the running lights will need to be on. But I run with lights on 100% of the time so this was not an issue.
For the TV monitor, I simply tapped into a switched circuit under that dash. In this way I cant accidentally leave the TV screen on and kill the battery.

On my system, both camera and transmitter were connected together and then one power wire went to the light.

If your camera and transmitter have separate power wires, you'll need to tie them together and then to the clearance light power.

Ok I understand... Just wasn't sure if I had to tap both the camera and the transmitter Into the 12 v or just one since they were connected.

EZ Backup Camera Installation

Yes, i used the display back plate and secured it there.

It is blocked when in drive, ok when in reverse. Not a big deal for me, since i turn it off going down the road anyway.
