Since this is in a slideout, what did you use to secure the base of the pedestals through the carpet to the wood in the floor?

We have the base on our table that you just put on yours. Do you like it? Ours is so wobbly from side to side, we have to eat on the ends in the middle where the base poles are so we don't spill something. We're trying to find a fix for that base.
