finally did some installs!

The weather was finally good enough to get the camper out of storage and to do some installs. First up was to install the Equa-Flex center link, total time for install was about 50 mins. It only required an 11/16 impact socket, 13/16 wrench, 1/2" impact, 2 floor jacks, and a hammer. Next on the list was to install the awning tie down poles that Old Coot made. I had scuffed, primed and painted the brackets and poles a couple weeks ago. The install was very easy and only took about 30 mins. I also cut about 10" off the bottom of the inner poles so that the kit wouldn't hang much past the awning arms when in the stored position.

Then I also took some time and planned out how I am going to run all the wiring for my LED awning lights and also placement of the lights I am going to install in the storage areas.

Here are also a couple of pictures of some other things that I have done recently. Since we don't have much counter top space on out TT I installed a space maker coffee pot. That ended up turning into about a 2 hr job, pulling the mircowave, installing blocking, doing some rewiring and the the install/reinstall of everything.

The I also had to figure out a way to build some sort of mounting plate for our RVQ swing arm so that it would clear the rear rack in both the up and down positions. A couple scrap pieces of 3" C-channel was just the trick.
