You negelected the part where he stated most computer controlled ones use battery power and can be used in the house or RV. The ones I bought do just that as they are powered by 2 AA batteries and work very well so far controlling my electric forced air furnace in the house. Also of note the pin identification in the t-sat is the same as the common honeywell upgrade that is so easily found via Google so the upgrade will be a snap.
