According to a the site that sells this mod ($34.95...hmmm..I am guessing parts alone would be $20 or so) the flashing feture is to attract attention to your RV in the event of a emergency (e.g. a EMT coming to your rig for a medical emergency)

If you are in a crowded campground and need someone to find your rig *now* this might be a worthwhile investment...

Ok, just looked them up. So it looks like somebody had the same idea I did, but also took the next step to start marketing it.

Price seems reasonable too. I think mine was around $30 in mats, he's only asking $34 on Amazon...

After coming back from Goshen, I've just spent the last couple of weeks doing a whack of new mods:

1) OC awning poles installed.
2) LED light strip installed for awning lights
3) Finalized my stereo rewiring job.
4) Changed the compartment locks to combo locks.

Plus, I've realized that there's a bunch of mods I've done in the past that have never made it into this thread. So, instead of trying to put up several posts, I've decided to put them all (past and present) in a single album. All my mods (to-date) can be found here:

Forest River Forums - Kaadk's Album: Mods

Throughout the years, as I include more and more mods I'll add them to the album.

We actually got ours from Canadian Tire:

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/6-...l#.U_5Ge2K9KK0

But they seem to be everywhere, shouldn't be hard to find.

I installed that one at the beginning of the season, before our first trip and several trips (and miles) later they're still in place.

I actually like those a bit better, but it's in store only. What a great idea though!
