Fireplace insert on sale at Canadian Tire

Just a heads up for those that are in Canada.
Canadian Tire has the electric fireplace inserts on sale for $199.(Muskoka brand) this week for those campers that may be inclined to install one on their trailer.
We did it last year and it is well worth it both cosmetically and for heating

Our GT378 came with one standard and we love it, as long as it's not colder than about 45 degrees outside ours will heat the rig just fine. Nice job on your installation, looks great!

That is a fantastic Idea and it looks great. Were there any problems with the electric hookup. My living area is set up like yours but I have a TT 8314ss and I may like to do the same thing. Anything special that is needed or I need to do besides make a mod to the cabinet?

Thanks for the compliments. Was one of the best additions we made to the 5r.
Had an electrical outlet near the entertainment unit and simple matter of plugging it in.
Just make sure when you close it in that there is ample air supply to intake of unit as it does draw some air to recirculate heated air that blower blows out. I inset trim panels on sides of fireplace for fresh air intake.

Thanks for the info, sounds simple enough. This will be a spring project for me.

Seems like it would put a lot of heat on your flat screen TV. Is this something that would work in a regular TT? Looks pretty cool and I bet it does put off some heat.

This is the Entertainment Center in the 2010 8526RLWS. Note the fireplace insert.
