Fireplace w/Remote
We purchased a 2016 Primetime Crusader last month and it has a fireplace.
Is the Model FFP272107-H suppose to come with a remote? I thought it did. It is showing it in the manual but the salesman said he didn't think it came with it.
I can't find who makes the fireplace or their contact #.

If searching for the model number shows nothing, unscrew it and pull it out to check for labels on the back. Most electric fireplaces have a small (1.5" x 2.5") thin remote. Would not the fireplace manual say who makes it? We got a bag full of manuals and extra installation stuff.

Our 2017 315RST that we purchased a couple of weeks ago doesn't have the remote either. I just figured it didn't come with one.

This manual has no manufacturing info on it. I will have to take it out and look on the back. TY

I just sent a question into PT via their website. I'll let you know what they have to say.

On our fireplace we accidently found the remote in a little compartment with a flip cover on the upper left of the fireplace, across from the panel with the controls in it. I'd send a pic but our unit is in for service. Maybe you will get lucky also!! We found ours when Liz touched it while dusting and it moved

They might be doing you a favor! Our remote must be carried over to the fireplace within 1-2 feet for it to work. That is with a new battery. For whatever reason the toggle switch is almost always off, so you find yourself walking over to turn it on anyway. I know this didn't help much.

We had a remote in our old camper, I got used to having it! I never remembered to shut the toggle switch so that helped :-)

I received an email from PT this morning;
Good morning Gary,
We do no supply a remote with the fireplaces. We found that they have a tendency to cause interference with the TV's.
You can purchase a remote through Patrick Industries Aftermarket Division at (574) 970-8282 or p125cs@patrickind.com
Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Nesa Wilson
UPDATE !!!! - Just received a second email from Nesa at PT. She is sending me a remote free of charge !!!!
