Here we go! When we purchased our camper, the dealer upgraded our tv from a 19" to a 32". Great! Only problem is, the 32" wouldn't fit the common brackets for the heavy duty RV mount. So, I went ahead and cut out a simple adaptor to get it to fit. Now the big question- will these walls support a 32" tv while traveling without any issues? The tv seems to be pretty light, but again, this is my first camper

Even if it could, I would probably opt to take it down when you're moving. I have seen RVs with large tvs strapped down for traveling, so there is that option.
Unless the mount is very solidly in the wall and the TV will not move at all, I would suggest taking it down. One time we were in a traffic jam and the wife ran back to the trailer (couldn't hold it). While she was back there, the traffic cleared and I drove to the next parking lot - just a few blocks - max speed was about 30mph. She said everything in the camper was bouncing around so bad she had to sit on the floor and brace herself.
We replaced our 28" with a 32" and "thought" it would fit fine. It didn't! We purchased the velcro straps at Lowe's and screwed them into studs on either side, connected the straps in the middle and pulled it tight. Worked great for us for over 4,500 miles of towing.

Thanks for the heads up Dave. We just got back from our hunting trip and I'm pleased to report that everything went splendidly. One thing to add-based off your story above I decided to brace the TV a bit more. I used one inch wide strapping on each side of the mount to suck the unit into the wall. We encountered some very rough roads on the way to hunting camp and when we arrived everything was fine. However, I think I'm still going to build a custom mount to span across the two studs that I screwed the straps to just for some extra piece of mind. I'll post pictures when it's done.
