Smile floor

Started installing my new laminate floor yesterday. Going really well. Hardest thing so far was removing the carpet in my 29rlbs.

Hope you're taking lots of pictures of your project...I see doing this in the future. Are you replacing the floor in the slideouts and if so, how are you planning on finishing the edge?

Yes pictures would be good. Especially the area under the slide out. I am reluctant to do it because of the different in height between the carpet and laminate.

Got the living area done except for the trim around the edges/walls. Going to use a 1/2 x3/4 oak decorative mounting to cover the edge. Leaving the carpet in the slideout but installed it everywhere else. Checked to make sure the living room slide works ok.......it worked perfect. Finish the trim tomorrow and will start in the bedroom where the vinyl floor is. Also checked and the bedroom slide is going to be ok also. Will take some pics and see if I can post them. Never had much luck with my pics of the granite tile counters in the kitchen and bathroom.....or with the fireplace I installed.

Sounds like you've been too busy doing mods to post pics. Once things settle down I'd enjoy seeing pics of all your mods.
