Flooring decisions

Hi all,
We've decided that we do like the Allure brand floor covering at Home Depot. Now,we can't agree on the color we want. I would like to go with a rich dark Cherry color to play of the light color of all the cabinets in the Surveyor and to match the contrasting trim around the Slide out. My partner thinks we should go with the lighter, Honey oak color to hide the scratches that are bound to happen from camp ground traffic. He makes a good point, but the color change would be so minimal that it hardly seems worth the effort. And to prove his point he took the Darker sample and drug it face down across the floor at HD to show how the scratches stood out. His logic makes me crazy but I don't want the floor and cabinets the same color either. Which to choose?

The darker floors would probably show more scratches as my other trailer had dark floor, esp sand, but if you wanted to go darker , you could get runners that matched the decor, good luck on your decision!!!
