foam mattress topper

Spent our first night with a 3" memory foam mattress topper that we got at Costco on sale for $119 over the winter.

WOW is all I can say. No more lumpy mattress and a great night's sleep.

I concur! The first thing we did to our new 5th wheel was add the memory foam topper to the bed. It does indeed make the bed a lot more comfortable.

Our mattress in our TT is heated. Will any heat get through the foam topper if we need it on chilly nights?

Ours work through our memory foam. It helps to remember to turn up the heat a couple of hours before bed.

Flannel? No thanks.

I actually embrace technology and the convenience it brings. I have heated mattresses and a furnace in my TT and I'm going to use them.

I am confused? I cannot understand why anyone would spend 100-200 dollars or more for a topper when for a few dollars more you could simply buy a quality mattress and replace the junk that the factory put in. Please educate me.

That is why we chose to throw the one that came with unit away. We payed under 150$ for the memory mattress at Sam's.

Have you shopped for mattresses lately? 100-200 won't buy anything

You're up around 400-500 for any quality. And a memory foam will be even more. With the topper you get the benefit of the foam for much less money.

Even though the Puma TT was only a year old. And barely used. The mattress was extremely cheap and uncomfortable. So.. with a 30 % off coupon and a sale at Kohls...A 4" memory foam topper did the trick. We sold that TT a year later . Bought our new 5th wheel . Added that same topper to a good mattress and WOW ..total cost after 30% off.. $80..
