Folding ladder
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a ladder that will fit in the bumper of my trailer. It's a 4"x4" bumper. I have a telescoping ladder but I was looking for something that will fit in trailer instead of the truck. Thanks for your help.

I have the one like CW sells. Don't know if it'll fit in bumper or not.I have mine hanging on hooks in the basement. Found mine at a garage sale for $50. Use it a lot.

Thanks. It was an idea. I have enough ladders to start a roofing company but I try to keep the weight down in the truck. I thought someone might have found one that would fold small enough it would fit in the stinky slinky tube.

If there was a ladder that would fold up enough to fit in the stinky slinky tube it would not be strong enough to handle the weight of an adult.

The GP Logistics folding ladders are rated at 225 pounds. ..:: GPL - Global Product Logistics, Inc. ::..
My neighbor has one stored in a fence post under his trailer. I've tried the ladder and it works fine. Very stable and really light.

I have the 7 foot one and it does not fit into the bumper, close but not quite. I just store it across the front storage compartment. It is a very nice ladder and sets up easily.

CW has them. Get 7' double sided.
Here's how I stored mine.
Mounted 5"X5" fence post cover under 5er. I've also seen the post cover mounted on top or under rear bumper.

That's a pretty good option. I'll have to look into that. I have a 28' trailer and I've already moved the spare under the trailer. I think I may be able to find a spot for it though. What kind of frame do you have and how did you attach the post cover to it? Thanks.

7'er will not fit in the bumper, but a 5'er will. Ask me how I know.

Let me guess. You are now the proud owner of two ladders?

Bought the 5'er yrs ago and decided I needed the 7'er also. Had to add a square tube to carry it.

Hose clamps hold cover to J bracket.

How did you like the telescoping one? Which one did you have?

I think I got it on EBay. I really can't remember. The ladder is great. I have a 12 ft with weight capacity of 330 lbs. I have another 10 ft that is two sided. They are just a tad heavy. I have a half ton truck and have to watch the weight.
