Frameless Windows - Hate
We just bought a brand new Flagstaff Superlite pull behind. Didn't realize about the frameless windows. Can we get these replaced with a different kind?

We love ours.
What's wrong with them?

Kind of hard to figure what you are talking about with the frames windows? If you are like you may need to slow your brain down so your fingers can catch up on the computer keys and actually type what I'm thinking.

Frameless Windows
Feel completely boxed in and no cross breeze. Want to replace a few.

I know nothing about them being able to be replaced.
I don't know what you mean by your statement of 'boxed in'.
The frameless windows give way more view than the older style windows.
We get plenty of breeze by cranking them open.
There are several threads here about a modification to the crank stop, to be able to open the window even farther. Search for that if you'd like to explore that possibility.
Also with the frameless windows, you can have them open when it rains.
Not sure what is not to like about the frameless windows.??????

I'm sure you can get them replaced however it may be costly. I have not experienced the problem with cross breeze in my rig. With no air moving outside I turn on my two creat-a-breeze fans and it seems to work. You may want to try different combinations of openings, but that won't solve your feeling of being boxed in.

Saw those silly windows on rv's at the Hershey show. No way would I have one...need windows that open to let air/breeze's in. I'll stick to my sliders. That being said, search the forum. I recall a few months back posts concerning modifying the frameless windows so they would open further.

Frameless Window
Yeh if we could open them further that might be okay. I just hate it. So upset we didn't really do our due diligence before buying but we were new to actually buying a vehicle. We always rented and they always had slide windows so I just didn't think about it and wasn't shown or really told about it. Not sure how to search on here, can someone help me with that?

Those windows were one of the reasons we chose not to order the Emerald Edition when we ordered our 2015 Flagstaff 27RLWS, as the rear living room windows are non-opening. That and the fact that our truck is white.
Doubt whether they can be inexpensively changed.

Did that change in the last few years? I've got the Rockwood version and all of mine open with the exception of the small kitchen window and the tall thin one opposite of it.

We love ours and they seem to open enough to get a breeze through. We usually have them open a bit with the door open and/or the fantastic vent going.
Maybe they're just new to you so it will take some getting used to to figure out how to best get ventilation.

Sleek, clean looking trailer, all open some at bottom. Dark tint, dual pane, quiet and COOL. Reason we bought was frame less.

A couple things come to mind reading the OP's comments. You sure can have those changed out, you just need enough money. Seems to me the industry is going to frameless windows, at least in the upper end of the industry.
Oh, one more thing, some like em some don't. How about this, wait a year, see if they grow on you. If not, get your wallet out. The ability to change them out, will hinge on the rough openings already cut into the wall panels. Just sayin'

I find that the frameless windows in our Rockwood 2703WS don't close very tight and work themselves open sometimes. They also don't open very far but there is a fix for that. They do better at keeping rain out and I like the look so mixed emotions here.
