Fresh water tank mod

I'm wanting to do a mod on my fresh water tank so I don't have to crawl underneath to open the drain. Has anyone out there done something like this before? I have an idea of how I want to do it but I'm open to any suggestions, thanks.

I did it on our popup years ago. I used PVC, galvanized pipe strap, and a ball valve on the end. Took about 1/2 an hour and saved my back for years. Just remember to give the pipe extending from the water tank enough of a pitch so it will empty.

Yeah we did the same thing on our old popup,do you have any pics of what you did? I'd appreciate seeing them for some ideas being this is our first TT.

One thing to consider when doing your mod is how much cold weather camping you do. The extended drain tube will become a freeze (and break) point in the fresh water system so you might want to insulate the line if need be.

Can't you just turn outside water off, turn on water pump, open some valves in kitchen a empty it that way.....just saying.

If you did it that way, wouldn't all the water be going into the grey water tank? So if the grey water tank was full, it couldn't be done that way. Am I correct?

Just open the grey water slide or turn on your outside water spigot. Does that make sey?
