Here is a picture of my fridge. Where do I put the fan? I know where the 12v is to hook it up but can not find a pic that looks like this one. Thanks

Factory mounts fans just below the condenser coil about one foot below the roof vent. If in slide there is a second access outside. If not can pull out fridge for access. Some have mounted in the horizontal baffle just inside the outside access. Check the forum search window for "dometic refridge fans". There's ideas and pics. You"re fridge model wii help.

Model # is DM2652
I looked for a pic of a fridge that was outside (uninstalled) so I could see what was there. No luck. I understand where a fan would be placed at the top, through the upper vent but did not know if the bottom fan would go in the middle. Guess it may just have to go where it will fit. I found pics of fans but none looked like the one I have. maybe I am just over thinking it.

Thanks. That helps. Figure you had a sore neck after installation. Did you put a switch on it too?

My fans come on when the fridge is turned on. Then later I added a switch to shut them off if I want separate from fridge.

Appreciate the pics. I think I can get it done. Just not to hot about putting them in from the top where they are more difficult to access. Thanks

Better to have the forced air blowing across everything, especially down at the bottom and then being funneled across the fins above. You can see where I located the switch for my fans.

Do you exhaust the heat out of the outside vent? Where do you purchase them and where do you mount it? Are they AC or DC operated?

Have 2 on the outside and 2 on the inside. Never turn them off even tho' I have switches on both sets. Also have remote temp sensors in freezer and the refrigerator.

so that the fan runs even with door closed .

Question, does the fridge run colder with the exhaust fans or does it make it work easier?

Looks like you used tie straps to fasten it to the fins?
