I ordered a female to female coupler. I guess if that doesn't work, I'll start splicing stuff together.

Do you know what camera it is wired for? You may have the wrong one. Later RJD

Look very closley at the wholde assembly. I installed mine two weeks ago. The kit I ordered had extra parts because your camper already has the housing. I had to pop off the screws on the back and dissasemble then reassemble in the housing on the camper leaving me with extra unnecessary parts.

I believe what your pic shows will not fit into the housing on the camper. hard to explain online typing.

It looks like it is wired for Way Interglo bal camera....this camera is more expensive and not a lot of information about it. I'm going to see if my coupler works and if not, I'm going to try to hard wire it. The brackets are identical.

Most are wired for a Furrion camera. Should have been some info in your instruction package that came with tt. Mine did. Later RJD

It looks like the trailer has the wiring for the FOS48 observation camera.
The camera you have may be the older FRC12 backup camera.

Either way both will work with the proper adapter or by hardwiring.

So much for that theory.
Did the camera come with the mating pigtail. If it did you could splice that in to the exsisting wire after removing the connector.

Yes, I can and will do if the coupler I ordered doesn't work.

Always a joy when two products are the current versions and are supposed to work together, and they don't!

The prewire looks like a typical 5mm OD, 2.1mm ID 12 volt power plug while the camera connector is a 3.5 mm 3 circuit audio plug, odd choice by the manufacturer for a power plug.

That picture kind of looks like that phono/audio plug on the camera will pull out, did you try that?

The camera plug is a 2.5mm, the pre-wire might be bigger but hope not because the coupler won't fit. Sounds like I will be splicing.

If you bought the Furrion kit, you should have gotten the correct power wire with it. If it were me, I would take it to your selling dealer and have them replace it as a warranty issue. It really looks like you got the wrong wiring on the power supply to the camera.

The housing on your camper is definitely not for that camera. It should look like this. I don't see a place for the antenna in your picture.

Update.......found out today the pre-wire on the camper was for a specific camera sold at the dealership and was not compatible to Furrion. I had to uninstall the pre-wire and install what Furrion provided.
