Fuse access

Having blown a couple of fuses in the panel in the last few years, as everyone knows, it is a 'bear' to get to the fuses with the panel on. I have a fuse puller, but sometimes (often) I misplace it and have to use my fingers. Have decided I am going to enlarge the opening around the fuses to make it more accessible. Will post before & after pics later today.

Hey OC.

INSTALL circuit breaker fuses with the extended prongs as that works purfect.
I'll post a pic here in a second.

I have never seen the fuse shown in your bottom pic. It looks bigger - will they fit in the same space as the current ones.

Thanks, I use the auto reset on my electric winch on the Cub Cadet scoop/bucket, and I would replace all of them in the camper, but I have a s...load of fuses (hopefully lifetime supply) to use. Besides that, I am on a very rigid, fixed income and have to save every penny.

Yes they will fit as I have them in mine.
It brings the cb right out to the edge as to access it with your phingers rather than the actual ato phuses which are a bear to get at.
Make sure if you order some that they are of the extended version.

Fortunaly I have not experienced any blown fuses yet and I have a supply of spares of all the amperage I need. Also, unlike OC, I don't misplace my puller as it is in my tool box with all of the rest of the things a well prepared RV owner should have

I guess misplacing things is old thing that not all old people experience, just a few

That's only if you remember to put the tool box in the trailer.

so do you forget to put the tool box in the RV also?

There are some things better left unsaid.

Now I can get to the fuses and make sure the connections are still tight. Best of all, cost: $0.00 Limited budget, remember?

Turbs, we very seldom have enough draw on the converter for the fan to engage. Just don't use that many lights. Besides that, I still my best work in the dark.
