Grey water waste remote valve
We have a relatively small grey water tank. Does anyone make a good wireless valve? I really don't want to have to wire up an inside switch.

Why? Is it that hard to pull your valve rod?
They have motorized ones with a switch but haven't seem any wireless.

Because when I am watching NASCAR or F1 and the DW fills it up it would be nice to not have to stop what I am doing?
Just one of many possibilities.....

Sounds as though you have a sewer connection. Why don't you just leave the grey water valve open?

The grey and black tanks are 38 gallons. The DW likes to flush a lot also, granted not using as much water as showers and the like. This is really just a mater of convenience and I could be micromanaging it a bit.

we can camp a whole weekend and not fill any tanks past 1/3, including daily navy showers. What in the world is she doing that you can't make it till a commercial break to pull a handle?

Grey water waste remote valve
It doesn't matter to me why you want to do this.
The only power valves that I know of are wired with a switch inside. I don't know of any wireless ones. However, f100turbo here has somehow made a remote for his awning so it should be possible to wire something up aftermarket like.

Even maybe a relay switch with an ardunio using wifi or Bluetooth to actuate the manual switch.

I think no matter what, you're looking at some kind of DIY solution. Do record the process, though! I've had to send my daughter out before to pull our gray tank for the shower (from the shower) before.

Radio Shack used to sell X10 home control modules. I think you can still buy them. You could wire one of the lamp control modules into one of the valves that utilizes the indoor switch. Sounds like a good redneck project.

I don't think x10 will accept or work for 12 volt dc as the electric valves use, but I still think there are options along this line of thought.

I saw the valves on CW. How did you integrate the control? I am not familiar with the awning remotes, I'm ruffling it there

You are correct. I didn't even consider that.
