gutted the queen sized fold out couch

today i fianlly got off my buttttt and gutted the fold our sofa bed

took about three hours to fab up a new supprt frame for the couch cushions and viola we got a lighter couch by about 50 lbs

i used 3/8 OSB for a base for the cushions, and wrapped it in a thin material that is waterproof, then a 1" layer of foam covered by some artifical leather and bam we dont sink sitting on the couch no more.
I framed the lower side to facilitate a bottom panle if we decide later we need to have some more storage for balnkets.

post pics later folks

anyone need a fold out bed and mattress?
