Handicapped Picnic Tables

We were at (Big Falls Mn.City C/G) and they had built their Picnic Tables with the Table Top boards (2) feet longer than the Seat boards on (1) end. This allowed Wheelchair acess as well as a place for (Gas-Charcoal)grills. Then when the (Dummies) burn the Top boards on that end they simply (Cut them off). We have never been to a State Park with this feature for Wheelchairs. Youroo!!

3 weeks ago i stayed at Cherry Creek State Park in Arora, CO. Really neat, well kept campground with huge sites and lots of wildlife. They, too, had handicapped tables except they were rubber coated exoanded metal with the extended ends. Even had the HC markings on the ends.

Most all the state and county parks in Colorado have the extended ends for extra chair or wheelchair. The ones in Larimer county are a full epoxy like material and have many burn marks. Knew of one camper that completely melted their hibachi grill into the table. They had to use a crowbar to pry it out!
