Hard to reach Ceiling Lights
Our new trailer has a light switch in the bathroom and one on the panel for the light over the peninsula. All the rest are turned on and off with the switch on the fixture itself.
I am only five foot and reaching the light over the bed is impossible unless I crawl up on the bed. Not convenient in the dark.
I know the ceiling is solid styrofoam insulation so don't imagine we can snake a line through that to install a switch on the wall. And running a line on the surface would look quite tacky so don't want to do that.
Any suggestions? I did look on Campers World for a remote switch of some sort but didn't find anything. Thanks....

Don't know how this fits into your definition of tacky, but there's something callled wire mold. It's a surface mounted channel you run wire through. Here's a link:

Here is a wireless solution for your bedroom light.
Transmitter: Decorative Transmitter - Toggle-Wide Button - Large Plate
$33.99
Receiver: Lightning Wire-In Receiver (Home Grade/12V) -- For Toggle + Off/On Functions
$33.99
I used this set for controling the bedroom light in our 08 Flagstaff 831RLSS.
Very simple to install. You only have to remove the existing light fixture, hollow out a space for the receiver, wire light according to instructions, re-install the light fixture and locate the transmitter (switch) where ever you want it.
It is a little pricey, but it sure works good and eliminates trying to feed wires etc.

Thanks - I like the transmitter idea. Pricey vs. convenience and safety. Likely worth the price.
And yes I do remember the clapper. Thought that was for plug in lights...
