has anyone added a recliner?

We ordered a FR forester mbs 2401w with the u dinette.

I know I won't find that dinette comfortable enough to sit on and watch a movie so I was hoping for suggestions from others about adding a small recliner that I can stow on top of the bed while the slide is in.

thanks!

Not in a slide area but similar .
Doing this in a slide will be different.

2251 dinette transformation to "lounge"

That is a fantastic transformation - I searched for that recliner but the one I see on their site looks different from yours. Do you have a link for the ones you bought? Euro Recliner Chair, Chestnut - Lippert Components Inc 388904 - Furniture - Camping World

Really great job.

Really great job.
Those are the units I purchased. Last years model
The new ones are a little different I see(head cushion).
They do lay back quite a bit- I added some washers to help give them a lift at the back- basically for eating.
I am 5'10" and about 200 lbs. Can't be much larger or the fit will be tight.

Paid 189.00 for each chair at kmart and it came with the Ottoman. The chairs came in a few pieces so I assembled them inside the travel trailer which worked out great.

Looks great.
We considered 2 chairs and ottomans also.
We decided on the pull outs for less stuff laying around.
As you can see- we do not have much room.

we bought two Camo recliners from Rural King and replaced the small loveseat/flip out mattress in our Puma 30RKSS. used them several times and must say they are very comfortable compared to the RV rockers that came in it.

My wife and I think the chairs are pretty comfortable. We mainly use them when we watch tv or for reading. I haven't figured out what I want to do yet but, plan on buying or building a small table one day to put in between them for drinks or the remote or something.
