Head Thumper Stoppers

My wife and I have hit our heads on the ladder brackets one too many times on our class c motorhome. I took a pool noodle and cut it to length and put it over the brackets. It worked but fell off easy. Suffered with it for a year and decided to do something about it. I had some scrap metal lying around (in this case weights for an old vertical blind I had salvaged) and cut it in half. I cut a slit in it and rtv'd it in place. I cut a corresponding slit on the other side to slip on the metal after installing. Seems to work ok....we'll see how it holds up.... Sorry about the upside down picture, but you get the idea. Totally free using stuff I had onhand....
