I’m all about lighting. After driving my Forester on an E-450 Chassis at night, I looked into options to improve the headlights. The existing headlight bulbs were just OK at best, I replaced the bulbs with Sylvania Silver Star Ultra’s and while an improvement, was not overly impressed. I investigated further options and stumbled on these YouTube Videos.

I purchased a set and installed them yesterday. I also made sure they were aimed properly. It was a very easy install.
I waited until dark turned the headlights on and went for a ride. All I can say is WOW, what a difference. Nice and crisp light and plenty of it. I purposely drove on some highways and urban roads for an hour and not once was flashed for bright lights.
I bought them on ebay and although pricey, they were half again more than the UltraStars. They are supposed to last some 40 to 50,000 hours which is a great deal more the Sylvania’s as well.
Time will tell and will wait for “bad” weather for the next test. So far though,
