Heater Vents

I recently purchased a 2006 Sunseeker 2600. The vent for the bedroom heater is on the kitchen wall at the bottom of the bed. Well, when using the heater, this blasts hot air along the side of the bed. While blasting the air, its uncomfortably warm on that side of the bed.
Has anyone found a fix? Thought I might look for a vent that I can close off some of the airflow on that particular vent. The current vent is fixed opening. Looking for something to gate down the flow with a variable opening (adjustable slats!!!!).
