My 2 cents worth on Camping World's Tongue Jack

I purchased an electric tongue Jack from Camping World as a gift for my hubby when we had our TT. Because of the design where the control was located, it was constantly exposed to the elements. We got to the point that we placed a sand bucket over the top of it do keep the rain out of it. After about 6-8 months, it finally gave out. As we hadn't purchased the warranty for this item, we weren't sure how or even if Camping World would handle this issue. And, of course, we no longer had the receipt for this product. We took it back, they looked up our receipt and promptly replaced the unit for us. Not only did they replace it, but upgraded it to the premium Jack they carried. The design element had changed - rain could no longer get into the controls. We were so very pleased with Camping Workd and how they resolved this issue.

Thumbs up

Great idea for a gift. We bought one for our son at Christmas. It only took about 20 min to install it and loves it.

You can probably use about any 2500- 3500 jack. That weight speaks to tongue weight and, LIFTING the back of the truck some during hitch up.

Black or white to match, as you prefer. .

Happy dad's Day

Right now, I'm leaning towards :

Husky 3000lb Electric Jack - Husky 87248 - Tongue Jacks - Camping World

There are a few cheaper options, also with great reviews, but no name brand. I also don't know if its worth buying a protection plan.

I just re-purchased one of these...

I had put one on my last camper, and sold it with the camper. I liked it so much I bought it again for my new Roo. Only $120 on Amazon!
