There are different kinds of foam toppers.
I dislike memory foam, would not have one. It is heavy, hot and stays mashed down.
I don't think it supports like a latex topper does. But it seems to be what the foam companies are pushing.
I like a latex foam topper at least 3 inches. I ordered one online that came with its own cover and skirt to fit on the mattress like a regular mattress pad. It made a total difference on our mattress that seems more like a box spring than a mattress!
But everyone has their own preference, just find what suits you best.
There are lots of places online to order. I think I found best price at Overstock and their shipping is cheap!

We went with the Dreamfinity 3" Memory Foam Topper from Sam's Club, didn't want to get out of... light... fading... fast...

We bought a 2" memory foam topper from our local mattress store and love it. Our bed in the trailer is better than the house. Try Costco, we have heard they have a great topper for around $100.00. We spent $200.00 for ours before we found about Costcos. Darn it!!

New mattress

We ended up buying a new mattress, overstock has a mattress for 240 and is huge improvement. It's a Nufoam 9" mattress.

I purchased a 3" memory foam topper at Sam's two years ago. Then topped that with a good mattress pad to keep it in position.
EVERY BODY who has slept on it raves, I of course, agree.

Mattress topper

We got Queen 4" memory foam purchased online @Wally world [walmart] for $129 each. It makes a huge difference and also works with the original mattress that is heated

Good luck

Bought a memory foam topper at Costco ... Queen size regular length ... $179 ... Very comfortable ... Put a quilted mattress pad on top ... Much cheaper than a new mattress ...

mattress topper

We have a foam topper (2") from Costco--it's made all the difference in the world! RV manufacturers do put the worst mattresses in their RVs--keeps the cost down.
BTW we had to trim some off the length as RV mattresses are somewhat shorter in some TTs.

Just bought a full length queen from our local mattress store to replace the short stock mattress and I slept like a baby these 4 nights out on it, best decision I ever made.

We bought the Nova Foam from Costco for our king bed and it is a dream. We cut about 5" off the bottom and it does make it even harder to make, but well worth it for a comfy nights sleep.
