I have back issues. Our TT mattress was pretty darn terrible but.... I bought this top at Overstock and I honestly sleep pretty darn good now and rarely wake up with a sore back. Sometimes I think it's better on my back than my regular mattress.
It's not expensive and I cut it down to fit.

That link took me to a login page. Can you send me the direct link to the topper?

You all are awesome for so many replies and options. Thank you.

Putting an "economy" mattress on a piece of plywood is no better than just throwing it on the floor!! As I outweigh DW by almost 100 LB, the first and best upgrade was a Sleep Number mattress. Now we take the old mattress along when guests will use the Flexsteel foldout. 50 days out this year and every night felt just like home.

I bought a 4" mattress topper from Walmart. Made quite a difference. However, we have a heated mattress that came with our TT. Cannot use the heated mattress with the foam topper but I do not plan on much winter camping anyway. I have a murphy bed and no problems closing it back up with the mattress topper.

I don't recall where we purchased it, but we have a 3 or 4 inch memory foam topper that we used in our fifth wheel. It was just a regular queen size one. Since our RV mattress was a short queen, we used an electric knife to trim off the end that wasn't needed.

My TT came with a futon mattress that was extremely uncomfortable. It was removed immediately before spending a night on it. My sister used it as a puppy pad for her dogs.

I brought a mattress-in-a-box from Wal-Mart that is so comfortable that it's almost better than my home mattress.

My wife and I just purchased from Kohl's a three inch Serta topper memory foam for our spare room at home because the mattress is so hard. I've slept on it and find it very comfortable. We bought it on sale and with one of their 20% off coupons. It cost us around $200.
