Help with Entry light Automatic Illumination

I hate when that happens. Sunny and 72 right now and high is "supposed" to be 76. Never can trust a weather man though. While all yall northerners are either snowed or iced in, sounds like a good time to come up with a solution to my dilemma. How to hook up an auto "on" switch to my entry door upon entry. Have a ceiling light directly over my door which comes on when you turn on the useless little step light. Would like to have the wall switch always on and let a photoelectric switch run my "new to install but haven't gotten yet" step lights, along with a door switch that will come on when door opens. WHEH! That was a long explanation. Any ideas??? Steve

I agree, The previous thread had over 650 Posts on awning lights. We certainly did not need to go there. I am glad you agreed.
