Help with U shaped Dinette as a bed
Hello!
Long time no posting. Just got back from a trip to Texas with the camper. Was great having our own little home for the 11 days instead of living out of a suitcase and hotels.
We have been having a few little things that have been bugging us, but the biggest one is the dinette when converted to a bed. It has a rounded edge on the table the faces out. When someone gets out of the bed, this tips forward. The supports under the table are pretty light weight. We had the dealer replace them once. We need to figure out a good mod for these supports. Has anyone done one that can hold the weight and the tipping of the table top? With 3 kids, it is hard to keep them from doing that.
Had a few other minor issues on the trip. The shower head cracked sometime over winter, even though winterized. Discovered that as I stepped in the shower the first time. When hooking to city water, the connection inside came apart we got a little flooded. And the ducts for the heater came loose. These last three years we have been amazed at how it looked so perfect as a first time buyer, to realizing how cheaply these are put together. Though it is worth it since it gets us out more!! Just more bonding time with repairs, lol!!
