Hmmm, the gears are turning

So out of boredom I did some looking around on Amazon today and found this: Logisys RM02 12V 15AMP Relay Kit with Two Remote Controls.

Now the gears are turning in my head, does anyone smell that burning smell? I can see wiring this up to remotely turn on an overhead light or porch lights on an RV when coming back to it at night. Or maybe something else?

Here is another one that looks cool too.

I have two of these in my shop, still in the packages. Got the at Walmart on the clearance isle a while back. 5 bucks each. When I get the time, gonna use them on my 5er to control the under belly accent lighting and the entry step light.
I did this on my first TT a few years back. Photos here

Thanks for the photos Mike. Great job. My wife has been after me to line the inside of the window valances on the passenger side of our rig with the rope lighting like the high end diesel rigs have. As there isn't a great location to put a switch for them I think the remote would do a great job. Also thinking about puting a string of rope lights under the passenger side slide for porch lighting, another good use for the remote.
