It is 4 1/2 inches tall. It won't fit in my 4 inch bumper.

This is a bit off the original subject, but once I was stung by wasps while opening the electrical pedestal cover. Now, before I open one at a campsite that isn't often used, I stand behind it and tap it.

I like the mods some have done, and will probably look at doing a white 5" PVC solution in the future, but back to the original OP's post, and for others reading, I always put a leather glove on my hand before pulling that black plug out of the bumper. I got stung a couple years ago and now as habit, just protect my fingers. I also keep a can of wasp and hornet spray in the front cabinet where my gate valves are. That way if I need it, It's already in an open cabinet and I am ready to kill the little stingers (no pun huh!)

Haven't tried it yet, but a friend said WD40 will keep them out.
