Hot water remote bypass

I have the new atwood quick recovery heater with 3 levers back of tank for bypass. I am wondering if there is a remote kit to mount these in my contol Center since they are hard to reach. The manufacturer has gone to the remote setup in the last few months (of course). But mine was prior to the change.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Hot Water Remote

Moving the bypass to a new location can be done but it will require a lot of new piping. You will need to run the hot and cold supply lines to that location and run the hot and cold back to the heater. Then install the bypass in the exterior compartment. You will need to make sure when you drain the heater you need to make sure the return lines drain drain because of their distance from the heater. Check out a newer unit the same as yours and see how they did it. Also take pictures of it.
The bypass is only used twice for winterizing and then again when you want to start camping. I guess you will need to weigh the time, labor and cost of making the change and is it really worth it based on the extra convenience. Regards; Frank
