How do you fasten things to the walls?

Tomorrow will mark our sixth month anniversary living full-time in our 2008 Lexington 300 GTS. Time for some additions and modifications.

My question is: How do you attach things like shelves and small cabinets to the walls of the MH, especially the walls of the slide outs?

Is there regularly spaced framing like the studs in a house? I have noticed 3/4" x 3/4" cleats attached to the ceiling from which the cabinetry seems to be hung. I also have noticed angle brackets attaching the window treatments just above the windows. I would expect some kind of framing around the windows.

Thanks in advance for any info.

We hang things like pictures using screws to hang it and sticky velcro strips to ensure they don't come loose. Has worked for us.

X3 on Command.

Use the picture commands for all our artwork and family photos.

Use the hooks for everything else.

I also use museum putty to secure all the decorative glassware and lamps. Nothing moves, therefore Momma is happy, so I am happy. Life is good!

We use a combination of the above too. Works great! I just put up some decorative hooks in the bathroom with no issues.
