I am a simple genius and you are too!

I always look for everyday things to use for something else. The other day I was at Home Depot and found these.

Awning stake or for tethering your RV down during a tornado? How much were those?

So then, you take the bright orange para-cord and loop it over the awning and back down to the new tie down kit.

And Then......., when you don't need the rope you just leave the flush mounted tie-down in the ground.

Small issue with that - without poles, the awnings do not have support and will still self destruct in high winds...you are almost there...you just need some poles and Old Coot's mounting brackets!

P.S. NONE of these screw in things work worth a damn in gravel/hard pan! You need a big rebar stake!

Harbor freight sells the ratchet tie-downs and dog leash screw ins for cheap! Tie-downs are $20 set of 4 and the screw ins are $1.50 each
