Yes, it is a sliding door which hangs on two rollers and does not close against a jamb. No bottom track either. Basically it's a wooden curtain which can be pushed opened because there is no bottom track.

I drilled a hole @ the top of the(pocket) door trim through the closed door & installed a clevis pin with loop to pull it out. Works great.

That sounds like it would work well. The trim is a bit thin but a small hole would be ok. Ill give it a try. Thanks Exgmtech.

I'm thinking a simple hook or chain lock on the inside. No key required. Easy out, cheap.

We have just purchased a trailer with the same door. I am planing to use a thick piece of Velcro on a strap which will adhere to a Velcro piece on the wall, thus holding the door closed. I am not needing to lock the door, just to cause it to stay closed, as our dogs tend to force open any movable door with their noses!

Saw this latch in the Primetime Sanibel brochure. Not sure if it would work for you.

How about the old fashion hook and eye bolt. Not pretty but it will work.

Wouldn't a simple hook and eye work ?? (they make some decorative ones)

Provides a bit of privacy when latched from the inside, can't be accidently latched (like a falling stick), cost effective.
