Idea's for placement of video equipment

OK, I have a 2013 Grey Wolf 28bh, and the entertainment center has those nice shallow cabinets. My question is where is everyone placing there direct TV tuner and DVD players. It is pretty lame they made them so shallow. My old FR Palomino had a nice deep cabinet that housed all my goodies and could still shut the cabinet door to hide the electronics. I would hate to have to remove that upper cabinet and make a shelf to go there. Anyone else come up with a solution. And on a side note can anyone come up with a reason that they would run the sat. cable to the booster plate but not hook it up or add a wall plate just for sat. Dealer told me the cable is there you just have to get a splitter to connect it. How lame the simple details are left undone.
Any rate anyone have suggestions/pictures of their setup.
Thanks in advance.

I hope someone replies because I have the same problem. We have a deep cabinet under the TV but it is about one inch too narrow. Plus, I would have to leave the door open to access the controls. We keep the DVD and the Dish receiver sitting on the TV counter which is plenty big enough but it is not a pretty setup.

I upgraded the size of my TV which goes all the way to the shelf so the equipment cant set there. Plus the Direct tv tuner overhangs that shelf even if could set there. I just hate to tear that upper cabinet out of a three week old trailer. But hey I might be forced to.

Well, a quick search for Rf repeater found just what I needed. Will order it later today.

Completed wiring of Direct TV reciever

While replacing the antenna booster, I found the cable/sat connector broken and the wire shoved in the ceiling, this is a brand new trailer there is no excuse for that type of workmanship. But all is repaired and this is a set of photo showing the HDMI wall plates as well as the coaxial wall plates installed and the new outlet in the lower compartment of the entertainment center.

Okay I have a 2013 Cherokee Grey wolf 28bh but to my knowledge I don't have a satellite cable pre ran in my camper. In your pics what is the black device on the wall with the green light and cable lines hooked to it? Also is there anyway you could post some pics taken a little bit further away so I can tell where these items are mounted in the camper? If I understand correctly we should have the same camper but I'm kinda thinking they aren't the same.

The Sat receiver is mounted in the bottom shelf of the entertainment area, and I used the upper cabinet for cable routing, though it does not look it there is still room to store items in this cabinet.

I have designed the setup as so that I will be able to watch any of the video combination on the four different TV locations in the trailer. I can watch DVD in the bedroom and living room, I can watch Sat at all four locations as well as Antenna at all four locations.

No problem on the pics, That black box mounted on the wall is the power supply for the LNB to the sat. Keep in mind I swapped out the factor antenna/powersupply plate for the Winegard plate that has a seperate antenna/Sat hookup. On the drivers side front do you not have a cable/sat hookup on the outside?

Lol I just realized I was having a "blonde moment" I have a 2012 rather than a 2013. Which probably explains the difference.

How do you upload pics to this site? I took some pics of mine to show the difference. I was also wondering where your fourth TV location is. I have one in the living room area, one in the master bedroom, and one outside.

I mounted the one that came with the trailer In the upper bunk near the outlet. If you are using the mobile. There is a picture icon in the text input area.

I took the wall mount from the living room area. I installed a moveable type mount in that location so I had the spare mount.

This is all I have on the outside as far as a TV input. It's near the left front of the camper.

I have the same type of input but it is labeled Cable/Sat it is a single cable going to the inside connection. This is what yours should look like on the inside. and in order to use the cable function you have to have the booster turned off. I wanted to be able to use Sat and Antenna on different TV's at the same time so I switched plates. I could have just modified this plate but I think the other just looks cleaner.
