I'm Cheap, Sirius-ly
This is a serious Sirius discussion.
I've become really fond of Sirius radio but I really hate the idea of paying for every single radio head. So, I've got one head, and 3 docking stations; a "home" dock for the house, a "car" dock for the Surveyor RV, and another car dock for the F150. The F150 is a little cludgey because you can see some lines that I've run. But it has a "line in" plug that accepts the input. Now with one head, we can use it anywhere with just one annual fee.
It's particularly nice to be in the middle of the Big Horn mountains, camped at 9,000 feet, fresh and showered after a day of hiking, under the awning in a reclining chair with a glass of wine, and listening to some Delta Blues on the external speakers (respectful volume), dog in my lap! Life can be really good.

Yeah, that can be a real viable alternative depending on your location. I occasionally crank up Pandora and plug the iPhone into the truck radio too. Kinda depends on your data plan too.

I have XM/sirius in both truck and Odyssey, but when it comes to the camper, we have a music library of over 18,000 songs, 12,000 karaoke titles, and 2500 movies. And the kids still complain that we have nothing to watch or listen to!

Hell yeah! I have a 4600 watt DJ/karaoke system that I bought from a guy who was getting out of the business, but the system is all computerized, with cordless mics, and I can play it through anything.

Got it! I must forewarn everyone. I have a tendancy to overindulge in the sweet nectar known as beer, and make up my own lyrics. I've made my wife, who doesn't drink, extremely proud of me, at 3am, with my singing abilities.

Along with the karaoke, I can put Dance Fever on Xbox Kinect and the big screen! Talk about a riot! I can't carry a tune in a bucket and I have the dance moves of a middle aged white guy. But I'll be damned if we don't have fun!
