Increase ground clearance 2008 235rs surveyor

Hello new to this forum.

Wondering if anyone has done any clearance modifications to their 2008 forest river surveyor. If so would you be able too explain to me what you had done or post pictures.

I have the necessary skills to do this just looking for ideas. Havenít had a good look under it yet to determine exactly what Iíll do but I figure itíll involve some welding, drilling etc.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Many folks do this mod here in Idaho to accommodate back country camping. I don't know your rig, but what I have seen is installing taller shackles and rocker boxes, turning the axles over if they were mounted on top of the springs welding in box tube along the frame and attaching reattaching the shackles and rocker boxes to that. Forest River may have a kit for lifting your rig.
