Installed a digital thermostat on a Dometic Brisk Air II non ducted a/c unit

After giving the dealership a chance to repair my ac unit that had a bad thermostat and when return the unit still would not work properly. I decided to replace my manual control non ducted 13.5k ac unit to have a digital wall thermostat controller. Now the unit will cycle off completely when reaching the set temperature. I really didn't like having the fan running constantly in the bedroom area when running the second ac unit.

Removed the manual ceiling air box and mounting bracket. Disconnect the 120V wires. Had to run 12 volt (battery) wires to the controller at the ac unit for the wall thermostat. Then from the controller at the ac unit run a 3 wire thermostat cable to the lcd thermostat on the wall. Install the new mounting bracket and control box. Connect the 120V wires to the control box. Plug in the 12V wires and connect with thermostat wires. Plug in freeze control sensor to the box and install on bottom left evap coil fins. I just did not installed wiring for the furnace since this is for my bedroom ac unit only.

Ordered the Dometic ceiling air box kit. Model # 3314850.000

Ordered the single zone lcd thermostat control kit. Model # 3313189.000

Very interesting. There had been a thread some time ago about using a relay to activate the ac. This seems much cleaner.
