Does anyone know how the factory does it?
I mean are the window openings framed in like a traditional stick built house or are the sidewalls just large blanks that the factory cuts for whatever application they need them for?

Very nice. I have the same issue with my 2501ss and have thought about how nice it would be to have extra windows at the front end. Instead of taking the time to add the windows I'm looking to move up to a motor home .

Did you use a jigsaw for the cuts? I'm guessing you did the cut from the outside?
Also wondering if you had to 'mask' the cutline so the surrounding fiberglass skin didn't start to crack and run?

Thinking of putting a larger pass-through door on my new Salem. The one side is huge but the other is only about half the size - a pain for access.

Cheers,
Mike

WOW! That is really nice. How did you know there weren't any electrical wires that could have been cut?
