Installing a collapsible clothes rod in my pop up celing

Are 3/4 screws safe and must I look find a support beam to install?

I don't want to rely on insulation foam for support!

You really need to try and find some support in the ceiling to mount it. The screws will pull out of the thin ceiling material in no time.

I wish I had a better understanding of the celing/roof construction design for the Rockwood 1950 ...

Does anyone have pics or design info?

It seems that there in no cross brace from the AC forward? Or at least none that I can detect!

Well ... First screw in the ceiling must have touched a 12v wire to the ceiling lights ... Blew a fuse.

Sure wish I possessed the construction design of my 1950 popup camper!

There are a LOT of Members who have/had (Collapsible Clothes Rods) in their units, and they paid for Solid Rods! You will be hard pressed to locate a (Solid) area in the Ceiling (Where you NEED it) for any Heavy securement point! Youroo!!
