Installing a TV Antenna on a unit without one?

I've been searching for a specific travel trailer with specific options installed, I finally found one with all those options installed with the exception of a tv antenna. Is that something that the dealer I'm buying from could easily install? If you had it done, approx how much does the installation cost?

Thanks!

I've never heard of one not having a TV antenna unless you're looking at a popup or A-frame. What model are you considering?

Wildwood/Salem/Evo 196BH. It's listed as optional equipment, however most of them seem to be ordered with one, but not this one lol

If it were me i would just use one of those flat window antennas. The King antenna on mine is a joke. I know because i have an antenna i use for my main tv in my house. I get 35 solid channels. I cut the cord about a year ago. The rv antenna pointed with the booster on gets one pbs channel that glitches off and on. I also have a set of rabbit ears in my house that picks up 9 channels. I wouldn't put another hole in my roof for that junk but mine came with it. Maybe they have better ones but that king antenna is just an excuse i think.

The antenna may be optional but I'd check to see if there's a cable and fitting on the roof for it. If there is, and you have the power circuit already installed in the unit to provide 12V to the antenna's amplifier, then installation should be within a handyman's skills.

The only RV specific knowledge needed is specifics of attaching something to the roof and sealing it properly, usually with Dicor sealant. The roof hole should already be there.

Just purchased my trailer! The dealer insists there is one installed (I know there is not, there was no crank or booster anywhere) but anyways, he said if they find there is not one, they will install it for free since it should have one from the factory according to his paperwork
