Installing additional compartment locks
Four of my five storage compartments only have a keyed lock which makes it a pain when we're set up as we have to keep a key with us (don't want critters in the compartments). I'm thinking a new Camco thumb latch could be used in addition to the locking latch for when we're set up (locking it when we're on the road, etc). I took one off to look at it and found the hole is not round, but rounded with flat sides to make it keyed. I'm assuming they punched the holes at the factory so short of broaching the hole can I just drill the right sized hole and call it good?
Better yet, is there an affordable keyed lockable thumb latch that will replace the OEM standard keyed Camco lock????
