Installing exterior tv mount on 31KQBTS

I have a 2017 31KQBTS, and want to install flat tv mount outside just below and to the rear of kitchen window (interior is in open space behind cupboards)
I'm not sure what is between the exterior metal and the finished wall inside (1/2, 3/4 plywood?) does anyone know what they use to frame trailer?

I can guarantee it is not heavy plywood. Is yours metal or fiberglass sides?

I would probably lean towards an interior backing board large enough to cover 2 studs and through bolts.

Unless it was designed to have something mounting there the space is only filled with insulation. You will need to install some sort of backing plate or position your mount directly on one of the wall studs. LED TVs are not very heavy I think my 24" was 6 pounds.

Thank you for the replies. There is plenty of room for a 2'x2' piece of 1/2 or 3/4 inch plywood back plate. Our 48 inch ultra thin tv only weighs 9lbs

With metal siding you will need it on a stud or open the inside and add bracing against the siding as the siding won't handle any pressure

Personally I wouldn't do it, maybe hang from a window or skip it

TV mount

Sit it on a table, skip all the holes in the siding, stud locations and problems associated with ir. Put a small table there and park it.

When I bought my Salem I ask the dealer to install an outside mount. The tech ( a really good one) said it was a bad idea. I trust him so I ran a cable connection to the side and set it on a table. Worked great.

I had my dealer remove the outside tv bracket before I took delivery. Their body shop repaired the holes. I know, different strokes for different folks, but an outside tv is not camping IMHO.
