While running the microwave, the voltage of the batteries goes from 12.6 to 11.8, but then right back up to 12.6 when microwave done.
With all that battery capacity to maintain, why not get a small portable M/W with half the capacity and 1/2 the power requirement? Just thinkin?

If you want to be able to run your electronics 24/7 I would suggest a smaller psw inverter plus a larger one dedicated for the microwave because even on standby the inverter will draw quite a bit of power from the batteries and there is no need to run a 2000 Watt inverter to charge an iphone.
Xantrex and Samlex are definitely proven brands.
Psw inverters do cost more initially but deliver cleaner power and appliances that tolerate msw power operate more efficiently on a psw inverter and oftentimes last longer.

But everyones setup and requirements are different.

I installed this one. 1000 watts and wireless remote on and off. So far works great. I use the honda 2k generator for the microwave.

Trailer plugs into the inverter from outside outlet.
