Lippert at the Goshen rally thought they could split my front arms between the spare tire but said it wouldn't work for me.

Also check out the BAL stabilizers. I put them on my FW and they work great and at a fraction of the cost of the JT, same functionality.

Last question, I promise. How tight do you put the T handles with rigging up. I understand tight enough so they don't slide. But should I really crank them down. Much appreciated for any info.

No need to crank them down just a twist to the right is all I have ever done. Been doing it this way for years

tighten the rear go to the front and hit the landing gear switch to make the front go up but of course not much and then tighten the front JT's and do the same.

IF you want to carry around a big hulk of steel I guess it would be ok but the reason for us to not have a tri pod was of the bulk of the product.
