Talking Jt arm strong questions? ???

Son found me a JT stabilizer for fathers day present, seems to be a good price. But how good are they really?
He did show me a picture of it ,But the picture he showed me has bars going from leg to leg.
Promblem I am seeing is I have a spare tire between my landing legs.
Will it work? Or should I just say grill me a nice steak on the grill
And buy me beer

I love the JT Strongarms on my Wildcat. Mine had a battery box and the spare tire in the way. Moved both of them and the stabilizer works fine. The spare tire winch needs to be moved back a few inched and the front of the tire brackets need to be trimmed to clear the arms. PM me with other question and pics.

If a guy was running a king pin tripod, would the jt strongarms make any difference?

Jack stabilizers will make all the difference.
IMO a king pin stabilizer does nothing, is bulky and cumbersome and you have to store it.
With jack stabilizers you can sell the king pin tripod to someone and hopefully recoup a little money. [emoji6]

Yes, I tried one, returned it the next day. IMHO waste of weight carrying capacity. JT Strong-arms or homemade equivalent are a the best way to reduce rocking

I had to raise the battery box on my Wildcat. I miter cut 4 sections of a piece of cedar fence board, brad-nailed the corners to make a box, removed my battery and battery box and installed the wooden frame/box between the storage floor and the original plastic battery box. All is well. These JT Strongarms really made a positive difference.

They are fantastic. The kids seem to wake up way to early when we are camping and they can shake the whole trailer from jumping around in the bunkhouse. With the JT's, we get to sleep without the shaking! There are other times when they are keeping the movement from waking folks too ...

They are the best to stabilize the unit, If you then added some scissor jacks before your axles you could have a dance and wouldn't feel anything moving around. I agree the king pin really is not worth the money, but it's better then nothing. My argument with (MYSELF) Why I have two landing leg's 4 ' from it.

You are correct. We had scissor jacks before the JT's because my wife sits above the tires doing needle work. together with both products it is great.

Awesome info. I have ordered the JT strongarms now, will have early next week. I happen to have 2 scissor jacks at home as well, will look into mounting those as well. Anyone wanna buy a tripod, only used 3 times.

JT's have made an incredible difference for us. Installation was very straightforward and easy. We are very pleased with them stabilizing our scissor jacks.

Do you put them in all 4 corners, or just the back?

I have JT stabilizers on front and rear. The (4) on the front attached to the landing jack legs and extend to the center frame and towards the rear. When then are in place the front end won't move at all.

Are the JT Strongarms by Lippert better than the BAL Lock-Arm Stabilizing Bars or the Happijack Universal Travel Trailer Stabilizers?

We have a bumper pull toy hauler.... which I may add has a crappy tongue jack we are going to replace with a heavy duty tongue jack.

They work the same way so they should all do the same.

I would think the amount of installation work would be the big thing.

As far as mounting extra scissor jacks by the axles. I assume you mount of the front side. Approx how close to the axles do you want to be?
