JT StrongArm Mounting Location

I just purchased the JT StrongArms for my Rockwood 8329SS. The problem I've run into is the mounting of the front lateral arms. Due to the design of the telescoping jacks you can't access a cross member. It appears the only place to mount them is on the tongue arms. Anyone have any suggestions? A call to JT and I was told to mount "anywhere" that would work!?! Thanks in advance for any help I get.

Take a look at this post by RodeoGeorge on install of the UltraFab Eliminators (very similar to the JT StrongArm)

(Post 14 in that thread, which also had links to pics)
I found it pretty useful

btw, I installed 2 pairs of JT StrongArms on our Rockwood 8281WS this last weekend, 1 pair on the front landing legs front-to-rear, and one pair on the rear stabilizers rear-to-front. I didn't install the front lateral pair, since I already had Winfield cross-brace stabilizers (which mount from the top of each leg to the bottom of the other leg, crossing over).

Hopefully the post I linked above helped some with the install tho'. Would like to hear how you got on, and whether you're happy with the improvement.

With just the Winfield stabilizers the lateral movement was 95% gone, but we still had linear movement, and some center bounce.

Haven't camped yet since installing the linear JT's, but hoping they'll make a further improvement.
I'm also planning to install some scissor jacks on the front suspension sub-frame cross-beam, to further eliminate any center bounce.
Hopefully after all this the rig will be rock-solid

We'll see how it is on our next trip, around thanksgiving

My 8329SS has the power stabilizers like two paddles that come down. I would be curious to see your stabilizers. I am I missing something?

Those sound like the same BAL "C" jack stabilizers that are fitted to most.
The JT Strong-arms mount between those and the frame to provide extra stabilization.
I'll post photos of my install in the next day or so, and will post a link to the thread here

If you think it will help, I can send you pictures of where I installed the JT StrongArm bars on my 2016 Stealth, but it may be apples to oranges since we have totally different coaches. FYI I only installed the front bars that go left to right, not the front ones that go front to back. Purely because I ran out of time recently. I plan to complete the rest soon...

Now that the forum is back from its sabbatical (seemed like server/gateway issues), I've actually managed to upload some photos of my stabilizer install.
They can be found in my new stabilization album here: -
http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...p?albumid=2480

I'll try to put together a post with some more installation description, but I've added comments to all the photos in the album.

Hope this helps.

Thanks to everyone for your help. The problem was caused by the front design of the front telescoping jacks. They are not BAL stabilizers they are made by Lippert same makers of the JT Strong Arms. I ended up having mount the JT's from the jack foot to the cross-members that serve as the battery box is mounted to. Seems solid and will hopefully work fine.
